The BELOTERO BALANCE® Procedure
Since hyaluronic acid is found naturally throughout the body, no allergy testing is required prior to treatment with BELOTERO BALANCE®. During the procedure, the filler solution is administered into targeted areas of the face using the Dermasculpt® Microcannula—a specialized instrument that helps enable injectables to be performed with little to no discomfort and minimal bruising. Depending on how many concerns are addressed, treatment generally takes approximately half an hour to complete.
BELOTERO BALANCE® Recovery
Immediately following treatment, some slight swelling and/or bruising may be apparent, though these side effects are typically limited and should resolve relatively quickly due to the meticulous approach employed by our plastic surgeons. Most patients are able to return to normal daily routines as soon as they leave our office, but certain strenuous activities may need to be avoided for at least 24 hours. Results from BELOTERO BALANCE® usually appear instantaneously and can last anywhere from six to nine months. To maintain an ideal outcome, periodic touch-up treatments may be necessary.
