Can I Change Implant Size After My Initial Breast Augmentation?
Absolutely. Here at 740 Park Plastic Surgery, we offer a procedure known as breast revision surgery for women who are dissatisfied with the current size of their breast implants, whether it’s soon after or well down the road from a previous breast augmentation. In addition to increasing or decreasing one’s implant size, breast revision surgery can also be performed to:
- Upgrade breast implants from saline to silicone
- Improve the shape and/or symmetry of the breasts
- Replace an implant that is leaking and/or ruptured
- Correct rippling, capsular contracture, malpositioning, and various other potential implant complications
If you are considering changing the size of your implants – or if you are interested in any of the enhancements listed above – I highly recommend scheduling a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who has extensive experience and proven results in breast revision surgery. Following a thorough examination, he or she can help you select the proper breast implants for your current goals or assist in correcting whatever is troubling you about your results from a previous augmentation.
