Dr. Stafford R. Broumand is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and regarded as one of the most credentialed plastic surgeons in New York City. After earning his medical degree from Yale University, he completed his General Surgery training at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by his training in Plastic Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, Dr. Broumand served on staff at Harvard Medical School and underwent an esteemed Burn Reconstruction Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Shriners Burns Institute. He then furthered his education by completing a Cosmetic and Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship at the College des Medecins de Paris, France – Hospital Necker.
In addition to providing breast lift, abdominoplasty, facelift, and a comprehensive span of cosmetic treatments and procedures here at 740 Park Plastic Surgery, Dr. Broumand is currently a Professor of Plastic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital. He also maintains active membership in such medical organizations as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New York State Society of Plastic Surgeons – the latter of which he served as President in 2013 – and he “gives back” to communities both domestically and internationally through various humanitarian efforts.
